Part-Time Marketing and Membership Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and creative individual to serve as our Part-Time Marketing and Membership Coordinator. This role is responsible for supporting the Chamber's growth by managing marketing efforts, promoting Chamber events, and engaging with both current and prospective members.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about community development, small business support, and digital marketing to make a meaningful impact.


Key Responsibilities:
 
Marketing & Communications
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns (email newsletters, social media, website updates).
  • Create promotional materials for Chamber programs, events, and initiatives.
  • Maintain and grow the Chamber’s presence on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
 
Membership Engagement
  • Maintain and update the membership database and CRM.
  • Assist the Executive Director develop and implement member retention and recruitment strategies.
  • Create member spotlights, testimonials, and promotional opportunities to showcase members.
 
Event Support
  • Assist in planning, promoting, and executing Chamber events (luncheons, ribbon cuttings, mixers, etc.).
  • Attend Chamber events and represent the Chamber professionally in the community.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (nonprofit or Chamber experience a plus).
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (Canva, Constant Contact/Mailchimp, social media platforms, WordPress, etc.) InDesign/Adobe Photoshop a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with the Benbrook business community or willingness to become engaged locally.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM platforms or membership software.
  • Graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Event planning experience.
